Rotarians enjoy doing good works for the community, and they enjoy getting together in fellowship and fun.

A Rotary Club of Mineral Wells social was Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Hog Mountain Retreat, featuring a lot of great food, including 100 pounds of crawfish prepared by Harris Brooks, Brad Wilkerson, Shane Coleman and others. There was also sausage, chicken, ham, potatoes, corn and an array of great desserts as part of a contest that raised monies we will donate to Back Pack Buddies.

In the video below, Mineral Wells Rotarian David Cairone shows how to properly eat a mudbug:

Then at the end of the night, with some crawfish leftover, members got busy to shell what was remaining.

It was a fun evening. Thanks to the Rotarians and non-Rotarians, including Connie and Richard Ball, who helped and attended, and thanks to Hog Mountain Retreat for hosting us.
