Rotary gives MWISD beaucoups of books

 

Rotary Club of Mineral Wells today celebrated its donations of hundreds of books to Mineral Wells ISD through its ongoing literacy campaign.

 

Each week, the club has the program speaker sign a book that is donated to a school library. The club also reads once a week to children at Travis and Houston elementaries.

 

On hand Wednesday to accept a large of donation of schools books was MWISD Librarian Melissa Morgan, who expressed her thanks to the club for its book donations and contributions to promoting literacy.
