Rotary Club of Mineral Wells is a proud backer of Back Pack Buddies, the local non-profit organization that provides food on Fridays to students to eat over a weekend so that they have enough – or in extreme cases something – to eat before returning to school on Monday.

The students are identified by teachers and counselors, and the food bags are discretely placed in their lockers or personal belongings, delivered to the schools by local police/fire/EMS personnel. More than 300 students are being served weekly.
