This week's scheduled speaker is Parker County Economic Development Executive Director Chris Strayer. He was named to the position in April 2023. Prior to joining the Parker County EDC, Chris served as the executive vice president for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce where he led a team responsible for attracting new businesses to the Fort Worth area and supporting the growth of existing businesses. During his tenure, his team secured more than $4 billion of investment and over 10,000 jobs in headquarter relocations, manufacturing, logistics, air freight and military defense projects.
