Dr. Rogers this year won a hotly contested Republican primary and runoff for the Texas House District 60 seat. With no Democratic challenger\, he wil l officially win the eight-county seat Nov. 3. He is a local veterinari an and the owner and operator of the Holt River Ranch outside of Graford in Palo Pinto County. Glenn is passionate about ranching and range manage ment\, and the ranch develops and markets around 800 primarily Red Angus Beef heifers annually. A product of rural Texas\, Glenn grew up around hi s family’s ranching operations\, which have existed in Palo Pinto County since the 1890s. His experiences with ranching\, FFA\, and the guidance o f a local practitioner inspired him to pursue a career as a cattle veteri narian.
